01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Part of the appeal of hamayaki here is the pleasure of grilling seafood at your table and eating it hot off the grill. Choose from the hamayaki seafood assortment, a grilled shellfish set, scallops grilled with soy sauce and butter, or live turban shell grilled in its shell. Some diners have said they enjoyed cooking over the tabletop burner; when sharing several dishes, waiting for each one to cook can be part of the fun.

A sashimi set meal is another option at lunchtime. One diner who ordered the sashimi set of the day said its presentation felt particularly generous. If you would rather have seafood over rice than choose individual dishes, the menu also includes a rice bowl with minced tuna and Oshima Island salmon, as well as a bowl topped with ten varieties of seafood.

The Okubo North Exit Ekimae branch serves meals from lunchtime into the evening, making it easy to choose a set meal by day or share hamayaki over drinks later on.
